A study by Just Eat on consumption of home-delivered pasta in Italy during 2020 reveals that among large cities, only Rome and Bologna remain faithful to local traditions. In Florence, for instance, tortellini with cream and ham sauce top the charts, followed by lasagne: both from Emilia. Instead, carbonara is triumphant in Milan, Turin, Genoa and Naples, with Sorrento-style gnocchi dominating Trieste, Bari, Reggio Emilia and Pisa. The report shows that 32 thousand kilogrammes of pasta were home-delivered. The data will be made publicly available to mark World Pasta Day, the 25th of October. (ANSA).
