The theme of the XI Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World has been announced

This year, International Italian Food Week celebrates a particularly significant XI edition: it is, indeed, the first after Italian Cuisine gained UNESCO Intangible Heritage recognition.
As announced in a ministerial notice signed by Lara Lanzarini, head of the Directorate General for Growth and Export Promotion, Office IX: Territorial Diplomacy and International Exhibitions, the theme of the 2026 edition is “Italian Cuisine as UNESCO heritage: territories and selective supply chains”, and it aims to champion local products.
Though the traditional reference to the third week of November is retained, this year, too, events can be organised with greater date flexibility to accommodate varied local requirements.
