The Annual Theme

As proposed by the Franco Marenghi Study Centre and approved by the President’s Council, the theme chosen for 2026 is “Salt cod, stockfish and other dried, salted or smoked fish in traditional regional cuisine”. It will also be the focus of the ecumenical dinner on 15 October.
The same subject will, as usual, adorn the 2026 commemorative dish, made of Bassano del Grappa ceramic using an original design by Filippo Cianfanelli. Academicians may order it by reserving theirs through their Delegate or Legate.
